Our wedding in June of 2001 was the first and certainly the most important event that we have hosted here at the Kremers. We put it on ourselves with the help of some of our family and friends. Lisa and her mom did all of the decorating and Bruce's stepson Bill did the cooking. We rented a huge tent that was put up in our driveway. The ceremony was held under the tent and it was also where we danced the night away. After the ceremony, the garage doors were opened to reveal how it had been transformed into a reception hall, complete with sparkling white lights and rows of tables to seat our guests. Everyone enjoyed cocktails, dinner and dancing.
Our union was witnessed by our family and friends. Bruce chose his brother Doug to be his best man and Lisa's mother Lela was the matron of honor. The remainder of the wedding party was made up of the family and friends of the bride and groom. The bridesmaids were Lisa's friends Tammy and Marla, her sister Rose and her new step-daughter Jessica. The groomsmen were Bruce's friends Tim, Greg and Dick and his cousin Steve.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this a day that we will never forget!
